If you are on long-term medication you can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- In person - drop your repeat slip in the box provided at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope and we will post it back to you.
- Online - follow the link at the top of this page and complete a simple registration
- Order from a Pharmacy - contact your local pharmacy who can order and deliver your medication for you
Please note we are unable to accept requests over the telephone.
We also offer a repeatable prescribing service. If you, or someone you care for, use the same medicines regularly, you may be able to benefit from repeat dispensing from the pharmacy of your choice. This service means that you would not have to put in requests for repeat prescriptions every time you need more medicines. Please ask your doctor about this service. He or she will be able to describe the scheme to you, advise you about whether the service would be appropriate and give you an information leaflet.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed excluding weekends and Bank holidays. Also be aware that if you request prescriptions through a Pharmacy the surgery doesn't always receive the request on the same day.
